What data we collect and why
- If you buy (through Ko-fi): name, email, product, amount and the Ko-fi
transaction number. To issue and send you your license or download key, to support you, and to
keep our accounts. We never receive or store your card details: payment is processed by Ko-fi.
- If you download the add-on or a template: date, IP address, browser and, if you
provide it, your email. To prevent abuse and to know what is being downloaded.
- If you redeem a gift code: name, email and the code used.
- If you write to us (contact or support): name, email, phone if you give it, and
the content of the message. To reply to you.
- If you sign up for news: name and email, to send you Solaris Core emails.
You can unsubscribe at any time.
- If you visit the site: anonymous visit statistics (pages viewed, country,
device type and the site you arrived from) via Cloudflare Web Analytics. It uses no cookies,
does not identify you and does not track you across sites. To learn which pages are read and to
improve the site.
What we do NOT do
- The MHD-INT program does not send us usage data: everything runs on your machine.
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who it is shared with
- Cloudflare: hosts the site, the API and the databases where this data is stored, and
generates the anonymous visit statistics.
- Ko-fi and its payment processor: they handle the purchase.
- Google: the site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which sends your IP
address to Google; and sales notifications arrive at a Gmail account.
- Some MHD-INT features query public services (NOAA, NASA JPL Horizons, NASA Exoplanet Archive)
directly from your machine; those services see your IP.
How long
- Purchase and license data: while your license is valid and for up to 5 years afterwards, for
accounting records and so we can reissue your license.
- IP and browser of downloads: 90 days.
- Support and contact messages: 2 years from the last message.
- News list: until you unsubscribe.
Your rights
You can request access to, correction of or deletion of your data, or withdraw your consent, by
writing to [email protected]. We reply within a maximum of
10 business days. Costa Rica's Law 8968 on the Protection of the Individual against the Processing of
Personal Data applies; if you reside in the European Union, you also have the rights of the GDPR.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will publish the new version on this page with its date.
