❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about the add-on and the templates

General

Do I need the add-on to use the templates?

Yes. The (free) Blender add-on is what imports your MHD-INT simulations into Blender at the correct orbital scale. The templates are applied on top of that import — without the add-on, there is nothing to apply the materials and cameras to.

Which Blender version do I need?

The templates are built for Blender 5.0 or higher (NASA textures). If your PC can't run Blender 5, every template also includes a classic version for Blender 3.6 – 4.x with simpler materials.

Does it work on macOS/Linux/Windows?

Yes — both the add-on and the templates are cross-platform.

Purchase and download

Is there a free version of MHD-INT?

Yes. MHD-INT Free is open source (AGPL-3.0) and lives on GitHub. It uses the same physics engine as STANDARD and PRO, with 47 planets and the core modes. It requires Python to be installed. STANDARD and PRO add the 300 planets, the guided labs, the reports and exports, the advanced modes, and a Windows executable that needs nothing installed. See the full comparison.

How do I receive my files after purchase?

Immediately after payment you get an email with your download key and a link to the portal (solariscore.com.co/en/plantillas.html). Enter your email and the key, and download from there — you can come back and download again whenever you like with the same key, so you don't need to buy again if you lose the file.

Can I buy the templates separately or only as a bundle?

You can buy them separately ($9.99 – $14.99 each) or all 3 together in the bundle ($29.99, saving $9.98). If you own MHD-INT PRO, all 3 templates are already included at no extra cost.

I lost my download key — what do I do?

Write to [email protected] from the email you used to buy and we'll resend it.

Usage and license

Can I use the templates for commercial projects?

Yes — you can use the renders you generate (videos, images) in commercial projects, monetized or not. What you cannot do is redistribute or resell the template itself (the .blend files, materials, etc.) as if it were yours.

Can I modify the materials and cameras?

Yes — they're meant as a starting point. Adjust colours, lighting, framing, whatever your project needs.

Support

What do I do if I have a technical problem?

Write to [email protected] telling us what happened (Blender version, operating system, and a screenshot of the error if you can).

Are there template updates?

Yes — when we release a new version of a template you already bought, we let you know by email. Download it again from the portal with the same key, at no extra cost.
